Aaron ate all of his oranges and a bite of bagel at breakfast. At lunch he ate all of his cheese, bites of canned cherries and a bite of bread and taste of green beans.
Aaron has really been imitating the other kiddos, which is so awesome. That is a big part of how the children learn at this age. One of the things he has been doing frequently is to come over to one or the other of us and give us love after he sees one of the other kiddos doing it.
He also imitates in general play such as pretend play with the food and other accessories, different types of jumps onto the mattress, singing, reading books and so forth. One of the things that I feel is the most beneficial is in the area of language. One of the kiddos will say something and he often will copy the words.
Gary's nephew, Steve, popped in for a couple minutes and Aaron and the other kiddos were using him for a May pole, going around and round him.
Alayna and her parents came by to visit for about half-an-hour today and that was fun for us and for Aaron. Before Alayna graduated, she was the one that Aaron played with most. They loved to make each other laugh. Today they picked up right where they had left off and were both laughing and having fun!
