12/17/12

Aaron ate very little at breakfast -- Kix and mixed fruit.   At lunch he ate all of his mandarin oranges, give his cooked peas a kiss and tasted his ham sandwich.

Aaron spent the first little while exploring what was out with this new set of toys from the exchange this weekend.  He brought several things that he liked over to me to show me, saying "wook, woah-whee!" for "look, Lauralea!"

Aaron played with Riley for about 20 minutes this morning.  They were peeking around the igloo, flopping on the mattress, running from side to side on the rowdy side of the room and just giggling and having fun.

Aaron brought me a piece of the Duplo house and the window piece and asked, "hep pee".  I am sure he was trying to say, "help please".  It was awesome.  We always model it for him when he brings us something to help, but I think that is the first time he did it on his own initiative.  He also brought over a bigger part of the Duplo house and said "house" very plainly.

He was really jumping on the mattress and the new set of stuffed animals that are out. He was also helping Morgan and several others pile the stuffed animals on the black chair by the couch until it was overflowing.
